Michael Faraday was born September 22, 1791 in Newington Butts, England. Michael Faraday was a British scientist, chemist, physicist and philosopher. He greatly contributed to the fields of electromagnetism and electrochemistry (1845). Some of his main discoveries include the magnetic field, electromagnetic induction, electrolysis and diamagnetism. Faraday was one of the most influential scientists in history. Michael Faraday was said to be one of the greatest experimentalists ever. He formulated the second law of electrolysis.
In 1982 Faraday was experimenting with electromagnetism. He demonstrated the conversion of electrical energy into motive force. In 1831 Faraday made the first dynamo by discovering the induction of electric currents. He was able to develop his theories of light and gravitational systems from his demonstration in 1837 which shows that electrostatic force consists of a field of curved lines.
Michael Faraday passed away August 25, 1867 in Hampton Court, Middlesex, England.

Words of Wisdom from Faraday:
"Nothing is too wonderful to be true if it be consistent with the laws of nature."
"The important thing is to know how to take all things quietly."
"The five essential entrepreneurial skills for success are concentration, discrimination, organization, innovation and communication."
"The lecturer should give the audience full reason to believe that all his powers have been exerted for their pleasure and instruction."
